Hunter David (Week 1) - When Will Marvel Show Up?

It has been really annoying over the last few months that due to the coronavirus, Marvel Studios has not really released any information about their plans for any of their movies or shows going on throughout the next couple of years. I know that production for everything has stopped for a point, but even DC has done their own virtual fan experience, giving us some cool updates about their upcoming releases throughout the next few years. Obviously, it will be a little bit before Marvel shows and films will be heading into movie screens and our homes, but even a little something will be nice. If possible, they could maybe release another Black Widow trailer, or maybe a possible teaser trailer for Eternals supposedly still coming out near the beginning of next year. And if they can not release any actual footage of anything at the time, maybe just an idea of what other movies and shows could be heading our way for the next few MCU phases that haven’t been announced yet.

They can even do this in a similar way to how DC just did their “DC Universe” panels, by making an amazing day filled with news, footage, and fan interaction. This would really excite everyone and bring everyone’s hopes up again about everything having to do with Marvel Studios and the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And with everything going on in the world currently, everyone could use the boost of spirit that Kevin Fiege, Marvel, and all of Disney can provide for us. So, hopefully, Marvel announces something significant soon, because as things slowly start to get back to normal, it would be nice to know that we can expect some Marvel content coming to us in the near future.

Should Marvel be trying to release new information about their upcoming TV and movies?

  1. I totally agree with you Hunter and think marvel should put out some movies. They have so many different superheroes and stories that they can afford to put out a movie. My favorite marvel character is Spiderman. What about you? Also, to answer your question they now opened movie theaters so most likely new movies will come out soon, but they are not releasing a new movie as they will not get as many views in the theatres due to the coronarius.

  2. I completely agree with what you're saying Hunter. Marvel should definitely release some new films, especially during the pandemic when everyone is waiting to watch something new and fun. To answer your question, Marvel should at least give fans a sense of hope that something good will be happening soon. Avengers Endgame is my favorite Marvel movie, and I'm curious to hear your favorite movie? It also might be nice to just rewatch some of their earlier movies.

  3. I agree that Marvel is doing a terrible job with not doing any marketing or even relaying information. DC has released multiple new trailers for Batman, Suicide Squad, Wonder Women, etc., while Marvel has done nothing. I think that Marvel has to do something before DC starts to steal their fanbase. I am also curious to see how Marvel will fill in the role of The Back Panther, as the actor who played him, Chadwick Boseman has recently past a way. May he rest in peace.
