Week 2- Puppy

     For my whole life, my siblings and I have been begging our parents to get us a puppy. In 2008, they finally got us a dog. Unfortunately, it was returned within 24 hours. This made us want a dog even more. Flash forward 12 years to quarantine, Sammy, Josh, and I would not stop asking for a puppy. Every single day we did this until our parents started to feel bad for us. Both of my parents grew up with dogs so they understood that we wanted one. My dad grew up with his dog Marley and my mom’s dog was named Hamantaschen. We began showing our parents pictures of goldendoodles daily. They are such cute dogs so it’s very hard to resist. Finally, my parents decided to call a goldendoodle place that our friends had gotten a dog at. It is in Central Florida and they have every type of goldendoodle there. Usually we are not spontaneous but for some reason my parents just decided to give a deposit on a dog. We were shocked but very excited. The dogs take around 8 months for you to get because they are in such high demand. We decided on a mini apricot-colored goldendoodle. He was just born September 7th and we get him in 2 months. Everyone is so excited. We are still deciding between the names Chewy, Tucker, and Zohan. We even starting decorating a room for him under our stair case!
