Hi friends! Welcome back to my notorious blog. Today I wanted to give you guys an easy and quick recipe for a great meal or snack! It's super tasty and delicious, and I honestly could eat it every day. Here's how you can make a cheese quesadilla and guacamole.
Quesadilla-
You first will need a tortilla (I personally purchase them from Trader Joes), grated cheese (I recommend either some Mexican blend, cheddar, or mozzarella), and some butter (optional). If you'd like, spread some butter around the tortilla. Then, sprinkle your grated cheese on only half of the tortilla. Next, fold your tortilla and place it in the toaster oven on a high heat from around 5-10 minutes. If the quesadilla starts to "bubble" in the toaster oven, take a fork and press it down. Just keep your eye on it so it won't burn.
Guacamole-
You will need 2 avocados, lemon, lime, salt, pepper, jalapeños, and red pepper. First cut your avocados, place them in a glass bowl, and mush them with a fork or a cooking mallet. Then, dice your jalapeños and put them in a bowl. Next, squeeze some lemon and lime into the bowl. (I usually do a half a lemon and a full small lime). Then you should sprinkle salt, pepper, and red pepper on you guacamole. Finally, mix! (you may need to add more of some ingredients to get a good balance.
I hope you enjoy! What other Mexican type meals do you all like?
This recipe sounds super yummy, and similar to how I make it. In my quacamole, I have been adding everything but the bagel seasoning from Trader Joes. This spice makes it more garlicy if you like that. Sometimes I use gouda, which I finds melts and tastes better than processed grated cheese. I also love tacos!
