I am so happy because on Sunday the Philadelphia Eagles finally got their first win of the 2020 NFL Season! After three previous weeks of two losses and a tie, the Eagles were able to defeat the San Francisco 49ers in a close game where they were missing 4 of their top wide receivers, their number two tight end, and a good amount of other key players. This game showed me how resilient this team can be, and I still have hope now that they can turn their season around. Their quarterback, Carson Wentz, played much better than he has been, their defense played their best game of the season causing multiple turnovers and sacks, and a wide receiver from their practice squad named Travis Fulgham became a star in the game, as he caught a pass for a touchdown, which put the Eagles in the spot they needed to be in, in order to win the game. Fortunately for the Eagles, their division is so bad that even with one win going into Week 5 this week, they were able to get into first place for their division. So hopefully, the Eagles can continue their momentum going forward, and maybe get their team back in a position where they can be seen as a true playoff contender! Should the Philadelphia Eagles try and push to turn their season around and go for a playoff spot and stay number one in their division, or should they instead tank their season, and instead try and get a top draft pick to help improve the team as a whole for next year and future seasons?

Hello Hunter! It is very admirable that you were able to separate being a fan of the team from reality and ackognowedge their flaws. It was a nice win, although if both teams played without injuries the 49ers are a bit better. I think Wentz is for sure a franchise star, and I wish you luck on the quest to beating Dallas!
