An online game called Among Us has recently swept the nation, captivating the minds of children and adults alike. Among Us is an interactive game where you can play with friends in a murder mystery setting. The game has been available on Apple, Android, and PC. I first downloaded the game two weeks ago when it was recommended to me by my cousin in New York. I selected the online feature where you play with a total of ten people from around the world in a multiplayer game to catch the impostor (murderer). I’ve never been much of a gamer, but this is different. At first, I thought the game was kind of boring until I started playing more and more. The game starts off in a spaceship themed setting where a player is randomly chosen to be the impostor. You and your friends have to keep an eye out and catch the murderer whose goal is to kill everyone in the game. Everyone else is a crewmate, so they can win by completing all tasks and vote the impostor off the ship. I would prefer if the game had a nicer-looking map and more character customization options then what’s currently being offered. Big creators like Ninja have been playing the game and streaming it on YouTube and the videos already have millions of views. The game is already ranked #1 on the app store gaming category. I’m not the type of person that plays this game every time I have free time because I would rather spend that time being productive. I usually just play the game when I’m bored.

I absolutely love this game! It's so much fun, especially when you're an imposter while you play with friends. I feel that it's like it's like the game Clue just with tasks. I'm usually cyan, brown, or dark blue with either a cowboy hat or a flamingo hat. But hands down, this is an amazing game!
ReplyDeleteI just downloaded this game yesterday because Leah wanted to show me how to play it. Personally, it was boring and confusing. I'm sure if I played more it would become more fun, but it just wasn't fun for me. I don't really play games, so this one was just another popular game that was okay.

ReplyDeleteI have heard so much about this game, but still have absolutely no idea what it is. This definately cleared up some questions that I had. I feel like so many people are obsessed, and if I never play then I will not get to that point. I will let you know if I ever do play and what I think of it.
