Jacob Poller Week 7 Game Review Why I HATE Modern Warfare

    The most recent Call of Duty game was a reboot of the Modern Warfare series. Often seen as one of the best FPS of all time, it's only natural that Activision would want to continue to cash out on it. The game itself is pretty standard, you can tell it's a Call of Duty game. The campaign is on par with the rest of them. and nothing extremely memorable. But that's not my problem with the game. My problem with the game is it's cursed multiplayer. All too often do I find myself in a lobby where I don't see anyone and then all of the sudden I get domed by some guy in a corner with an automatic shotgun. As well as the rampant camping problem the devs essentially discourage in game sniping. They constantly are creating different weapons that are broken and they do nothing to fix it, and then for no reason they nerf the snipers. This really sucks because now instead of people actually trying to get good at the game, you have that one guy using a head glitch with a minigun (true story). This game’s saving grace in my opinion is it’s Warzone feature. It’s basically a 150 person battle royal. But there are also severe problems with that. The problems that plague Warzone are it's extremely sweaty playerbase. So when I’m trying to play with some friends we are always outmatched by some tryhard streamer with one viewer.  But this problem isn’t something the game can take care of. I can not wait until my friend gets his PC back so we can go back to playing Black Ops 3 zombies.
