Most of you probably know this, but I play travel soccer for Sunrise Prime, and we practice in Pembroke Pines, 55 minutes away from my house. This leaves me with a lot of time in the car, considering I am driving there three to four times a week. My favorite thing to do while driving is talk to a friend, usually Sydney, my best friend who lived in Cleveland. When she can’t talk, what does that leave me to do? Most people jam out to music and just vibe, but I have a very particular taste in music and that leaves me limited to begin with. When you take into consideration that I am listening for over 2 hours every day, including school, you might understand that I am SO BORED of my music. Lately I have been listening to the soundtracks for both Mamma Mia movies, which I LOVE, but I can only do that for so long. Every Monday my favorite podcast, Yes Theory, comes out with a new episode, but each one alone only lasts me half a car ride. I don’t know what else there is today, so sometimes I just sit in silence and listen to the sounds of the cars on the highway. It is very peaceful and relaxing, but makes me a little tired, the opposite of how I want to feel before practice. Besides, it is just boring. If you have any good podcast suggestions, music recommendations, or other ideas of what to do in the car please let me know in the comments. I am open to trying anything. Hi! I can definetly relate to being bored in the car especially when my sister won't let me change the radio station. Honestly, I don't know that much good music but... I do love some music from Glee and Julie and the Phantoms (both on netflix).
