Week 6, The Old Disney
I grew up with Disney channel. It’s been around for as long as anyone could remember. I loved shows like Ant Farm, Sunny With a Chance, and even Zoey 101; But over the years, Disney channel became dull. I’m sure everyone has their own opinions, but in my opinion Disney channel took a bad turn. Disney channel’s still good, but it was at its prime ten years ago.
A major different thing is the acting. I feel like acting nowadays is way more artificial than it was. The thing is that the acting was always bad, but now they try so hard to have ‘good’ acting that it just becomes worse. The acting in the past was bad as well, but they didn’t try so hard to make it good, instead they just rolled with it.
Another major difference is the content. The content used to be a lot more creative. They’ve started copying past content and they make the old content even more worse and covered up. The thing to realize is that the more they cover up, the worse it is, it’s like a salad. Even with the dressing it’s still a gross salad, and too much dressing could make it taste even worse.
The thing about the old Disney channel is that they knew that their acting sucked, but it was so bad that it was so good at the same time. In conclusion, I love disney channel but over time, it became dull.
I also think that Disney became worse, but I don't think its because of them trying too hard to be good. I think that what Disney produces is what kids like these days even though I think it is terrible.

My little sister does not even know what Disney channel is, which should say something about the content they are producing now since everyone when I was growing up knew what Disney channel was. #SaveDisney
