Week 8, Aly Strauss, Diary Entry
There’s really not that much to talk about this week… so, I’m gonna do a journal/diary entry! So, today is October 23 and I’m starving. I had an apush class during lunch so I’m saving my lunch for after school. This time for lunch, I have Dunkin… yay! Also, this morning I was in school really early, and not even forcefully. Usually I wait in the car in the morning, but in the car I got a Matcha Latte at Dunkin because my mom surprised us with it, and I really had to pee, so I went in early.
Overall, today was so much fun! I’m getting more comfortable in this new school and I’m not as nervous to talk anymore! In my old school I didn’t talk as much ‘cause when I did, people didn’t really care, and also sometimes when I talk and I’m nervous, I stutter. Luckily everyone in this school’s so nice and even though we only have two years left, I’m happy I switched.
That’s mostly it. Right now I’m in art class in zinman and the room’s empty, but the air conditioning is great! That’s all for today… Have a nice day to whoever actually reads this :)
We are so glad you are here, Aly! And I'm glad you're feeling more comfortable. You will find that at DKJA, people do care what you have to say and appreciate you contributing (kids and teachers both!). Also? Now I'm in the mood for Dunkin...
ReplyDeleteHi Aly! I'm so excited you came to our school and I'm so happy you're getting more comfortable and you really like it here. I haven't been able to talk to you that much and get to know you too well since I'm not in school in person and get muted when I talk on zoom, but hopefully once we go back we can get closer!
