Ethan Wirtschafter- Week 9- Will Covid ever end!?!?

 

I do not know if it is just me but I am sick and tired of the Coronavirus. Constantly having to wear itchy masks where you can barely breathe, always having to purell your hands after touching absolutely anything, or not being able to do normal activities like we were once were able to do, Covid-19 has changed everything drastically. It has taken away hanging out with friends, going to the movies, and doing normal everyday activities. It has changed the way we interact with our peers, teachers, and communities. It has caused us to go into a worldwide lockdown, many people are dying from the unfamiliar virus, and many people are becoming depressed from the lockdowns. President Trump has said there will be a cure coming out soon from companies such as Johnson and Johnson or Moderna, and hopefully that is true, so that we can get back to conventional lifestyles. The problem with this virus is that it is constantly changing, similar to the flu, so the cure will need to be altered every year as it changes. This may mean that the virus will be around for a while, but let me know what you think if you disagree and think it will be fading away soon. Ultimately, I just want everything to go back to normal, live a regular life, and enjoy not having to wear a mask or be concerned with how close I am to someone else. There is a famous saying ““You never realize the value of something until it's gone”, and I think this virus has taught us this lesson. There were so many things I took for granted, and only truly appreciated them when They were taken away. Be grateful for everything you have in life. Who else just wants to return to regular everyday life again?
