The Inbetweeners is a British comedy show on Netflix that consists of a friend group of 4 boys from London in high school. After binge-watching it, I can confidently say that it is one of the funniest shows I have ever watched. While it is quite raunchy and inappropriate, I feel like I find it extremely funny because I am part of the main demographic that The Inbetweeners aims to get. The friend group consists of Will, the narrator, and complete nerd, Neil, the tall and dumb one, Simon, the simp, and Jay, the ultimate liar. Together, they make up the funniest and most unexpected friend group in England. Jay never stops lying to them, even though the rest of the guys always make fun of him for lying yet he still says it's true. Many times that Jay lies, he lies about girls and partying, when in reality he doesn't have any friends apart from Will, Neil, and Simon. Will is the main character, as well as the narrator throughout the show. He is a textbook geek, showing up to school every day in a suit and tie and briefcase, and of course, he has glasses. Will has many bizarre experiences throughout the show, especially with the principal who hates Will more than he hates his own life. My personal favorite though is when Will is taking his midterms for the year and he's spent the last week doing nothing but studying and drinking energy drinks. No showers, no water, no food. Just energy drinks. Anyway, long story short you could probably see this coming from a mile away, Will soils himself in the middle of his exam. To make it even funnier, Will shows up to the end-of-year school party a couple hours later with his dirty pants in a SEE-THROUGH bag that he is carrying in his hand. Oh dear god Will what were you thinking.
