Week 11, Aly Strauss, Ducks
It was last week on a Friday, and we were driving like normal to school. Everything was happy and my mom was driving, but then everything changed. As my favorite music (top 40) was playing I screamed STOP, and luckily I wasn’t too late. My mom almost ran over a duck. SHE ALMOST RAN OVER A DUCK!
I know no one really cares if a duck is run over, but I do. I love ducks. They are so cute and I don’t understand why someone wouldn’t care if they ran over a poor innocent duck. Like, who in the heck would ever run over a duck and not care? I literally love ducks. They make cute little quack sounds and some of them are cute and yellow. They also have cute little ducklings and they walk in a cute, little, straight line.
Just imagine the horrors of hearing a little hurt “quack” under your freaking car. Ahhhhhh that would be so upsetting, it’s like a puppy. A cute, sad yellow puppy with wings and feathers. Would you be upset if your mom almost ran over a duck?
I'm not sure if upset would be the emotion that I would feeling if my mom almost ran over a duck, but I might be a little worried about getting into an accident because of it. Of course, I wouldn't want anything to happen to any animal.
ReplyDeleteHi Aly, I totally agree. Ducks are such adorable creatures! I live by a lake where a bunch of ducks are always hanging around, but they're not the yellow, fluffy ones like in the picture. Either way, I still think they're so cute, and to answer your question, I would definitely be frightened or upset if my mom almost ran over an innocent duck. Luckily, she's a pretty good driver, and there have been no close calls yet!
ReplyDeleteHi Aly, I would be upset too. Im happy that you saw the duck in time and you were able to stop your mom. I think running over any animal is really sad. I would be upset If my mom almost ran over a duck.
