Wisdom Teeth Removal

Romi Avidor Week 9 11/2/20 What a week! Sadly it has not been the most amazing week for me. I got all four of my wisdom teeth out. I was so scared and nervous to be getting them out, but I was also very excited. There has been so much hype around taking out your wisdom teeth and I expected it to be really funny with a fast recovery. I was excited to see my sister because we got them out one right after another. It was pretty horrible. There was nothing funny. Right after I got out all I did was cry. The procedure for me was so weird. They put me under different gases and numbed my mouth. It was so weird because it felt like I was floating, but at the same time I was getting teeth taken out of my mouth. I am now a couple days after the surgery and I still cannot eat many different foods. I am also still getting pain in my teeth. My mouth has been hurting and it has not been a great experience. The only good part of this has been being able to eat as much ice cream as I want. Since Halloween was on Saturday, Gaya and I decided to joke around and act as if we are the Chipettes from Alvin and the Chipmunks. We didn’t even need a costume, our faces fit the part. Honestly, this recovery is not as easy as I thought it would be which is really annoying me. I can’t sleep well at night because I am only allowed to sleep on my back. Overall I give getting out your wisdom teeth a 0/10 rating because this is absolutely horrible. Anyways, I hope everyone else had a nice long weekend. Have you ever gotten your wisdom teeth out? If not, are you planning on it? This video is what made my expectations high. This is Jeanette from the Chipettes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mC4dqjA5MiA&list=RDTDgzCaxkkNI&index=11

  1. Hi Romi. I'm sorry you're in so much pain and misery. I thought the same thing about getting wisdom teeth out, but over the summer my brother came home to get them out and was feeling the same way as you for a couple of weeks. Eventually though, you'll recover and the pain will go away and you can go back to normal! I actually don't have any wisdom teeth so thankfully I won't have to go through this painful procedure. Feel better though!

  2. I also just got my wisdom teeth out right before summer. I didn't think that it hurt too much, but it was super annoying that my mouth was numb for almost a week and that I couldn't really eat anything.

  3. I haven't ever gotten my wisdom teeth out before, so I don't know the pain it must give. Hopefully I don't get them removed anytime soon. Feel better Romi.

  4. I've never gotten my wisdom teeth out, so I'm not really sure how you feel. What's your favorite ice cream? I know I could live on cookies and cream lol. Hope you feel better soon!

  5. Wow Romi I'm sorry it's been such a bad experience for you. I got mine out like a month or two ago and honestly it wasn't so bad. I hope you recover quickly!
