Zev Englander Blog 9 Mid-Way Season Sell High/ Buy Lows

Monday Night concluded week eight of the 2020 NFL season. It's been a phenomenal season, and standings are shaken up every week. Fantasy football is huge in America, and loads of people spend money on it daily, weekly or yearly. We are halfway through the NFL season, and fantasy footall players are looking to make roster moves to either bolster their roster for the playoffs, or to try and scrap a lost season. My list will analyze who I think you should be looking to trade away and trade for to carry your team to a championship. My first sell high is Dalvin Cook. He has been nothing short of incredible the last two seasons, and he is coming off the best game of his career. His 48.6 PPR points is a single game Rb record for the 2020 season. I am worried about his injury history, and he faces very difficult matchups during the fantasy playoffs. The Buccs and Saints run defenses are incredible, and you can sell Dalvin Cook for almost anybody in the fantasy realm. I think you can get a return of DK Metcalf and James Conner for him. My other sell high is Mike Evans. He is coming off a good performance, but Chris Godwin and Antonio Brown will be joining the Arians pass attack in Tampa for the rest of the season. Try and salvage an RB2 such as David Montgomery or Jonathan Taylor for Evans. My first buy low is Cooper Kupp. He has had a couple frustrating games this season, but when the matchup is right he plays well, especially if you rely on him as your WR2 or flex play. He has a phenomenal target share in the red zone, and if you are a fantasy manager in first place he is worth buying for the fantasy playoffs.Week 16 against Seattle can be a huge league winning game for Kupp. My final buy low is Juju Smih-Schuster. He started slow, and is close to riding benches in a lot of leagues. The game on Sunday showed QB Big Ben is willing to force targets his way, giving him some PPR upside for the rest of the season. Good luck to those who bet on football, what's the craziest trade you've ever made?

  1. Zev I really agree with your Dalvin Cook take. No one is really looking to trade him after such a great game but schedule is so important and Dalvin just doesn't have a good one. One take I don't agree with is the buy low on Kupp and Juju. They're both in offenses that have tons of weapons, so they can't consistently put up good numbers. Also, in Pittsburgh there's so many targets to throw to that it's really a crapshoot on who will play well each game.
