Ellie Week 15: My New Obsession...

Hey everyone. My new recent obsession has been...SQUISHMALLOWS! For those of you who don’t know what those are, basically, they’re just really soft and really squishy stuffed animals. I understand that makes my maturity level of around a 4-year-old, but I don’t care, I am absolutely infatuated with them. They come in various different sizes and can be found at different stores, but I’ve had the best luck with finding them at Costco, although, the best price is at Aldi. I gave one of my best friends, Gabi, a mini one for her birthday, and she loved it! In my current collection, I have 4 superminis, 3 minis (one my sister stole), 2 semi-minis, a medium, large, and JUMBO, bringing my total to 12 squishmallows. They all come with their own names, but for some of them, their name doesn’t fit what I perceive their personality to be, so I give them my own.

Now I will be introducing them to all of you. First, I got a large rainbow koala I named Betty. I don’t remember her real name, but from the moment I saw her on the shelf, I fell in love. Next, I got the triplet minis, a green dragon named Dexter, which my sister took with her to college, a gray shark named Gordon, and a pink pegasus named Pandora, I kept all of their names because I thought they were cute and fit them. Next, I got a medium brown and white dog named Reggie. I’m not sure if that was his given name, but I think it’s very fitting. Then I got a JUMBO Baby Yoda from Costco. He’s very huge and heavy, but super squishable and I love using him as a pillow. I also didn’t really give him a name I just call him Baby Yoda. Finally, I got 4 superminis because they were on sale, but I have yet to name them and will probably give most away to my friends.

I love my squishmallows so much and I keep them all on my bed so none of them feel left out and I can snuggle with them all the time. I want to continue growing my collection and create a massive Levin Squishmallow Army. Do you have any squishmallows? If yes, which ones? If no, do you think you want any?

  1. Hey Ellie, I really do believe that you should form and train a complete Levin Squishmallow Army and dominate the world. While reading your blog I kept on looking back and forth between the writing and the picture to see which Squishmallow was who, but then I realized that the Squishmallows in the picture aren't yours. So, are these just like a more modern version of pillow pets in fruit form? Im confused on what makes these specific stuffed animals much more superior than other stuffed animals.

  2. Hi Ellie, I’ve actually been hearing a lot about Squishmallows recently, so it’s really cool that you own a bunch. Unfortunately, I don’t have any, but I definitely want to get some soon because they sound and look adorable! I think I would love them especially since I’m still a big stuffed-animal/plush lover! What’s not to love?

  3. Hey Ellie, I do not have any squishmallows, nor am I planning on getting any for myself. It is cool that you were able to find something that you are obsessed and passionate about.
