I am a huge fan of TV shows. I am probably watching around 11 shows on live TV right now that come out each week. It's a lot to watch. Besides those shows, I have also binge watched long shows on Netflix and Hulu, some even multiple times. I have reached the point where I don’t have anything to watch when either there is no episode on that night, or I finish watching that night’s episodes. I’m kind of picky in general with what I watch, as most of my shows are crime/cop/first responder shows, so I haven’t been able to find any new ones.
When I’m not watching TV though, I love movies. I mostly watch bad rom com and comedies, the same ones over and over again, and I have always been made fun of for never having seen the major classic, popular movies. For example, I have never seen a single Star Wars, Marvel, or Harry Potter movie. Last weekend I decided I have nothing to watch anymore, so I am finally going to watch the entire Marvel series. I’m watching in chronological order, not release order, but I am only on number 2 out of 25. I have a very long way to go.
The first one I watched was Captain America: The First Avenger. I loved this movie, and it really set the standard for what the rest would somewhat be like because I literally knew nothing. I love the combination of reality and super heroes where it doesn’t feel like a completely unrealistic scenario. The second movie that I finished today was Captain Marvel. I have heard that this movie is not that good, but I really enjoyed it (I’ve realized that I like bad movies, oops). It gave me some more background on where the Marvel characters will come from.
Overall, I have been very impressed with these movies so far, and I am looking forward to watching them all. Hi Liv. I actually have thought about watching all the Marvel movies from all the hype I hear about them, but I just haven't ever really gotten around to it. Personally I prefer TV shows over movies because my attention span is not long enough to sit through and watch an entire movie. Don't get me wrong, I still love movies, but if I had to choose, I like shows better. My favorite series right now is Criminal Minds and Stranger Things because every episode is exciting and jam-packed, where movies can sometimes get a bit slow.
