Week 17, Aly Strauss, Rewatching Glee
I watched “Glee” when I was a freshman. It was so good and it gave me something to do during class. Glee was just the perfect combination of drama, and music! I decided to rewatch it because I forgot that I never watched the last two seasons of the show, and nothing else is on netflix that I haven’t watched yet, so it was a perfect plan. Wow! I forgot how much I loved this show, I mean just wow. I love the music, the actors, and the drama. Also, since I haven’t watched in a few years, there’s still a lot that I didn’t pick up on.
My favorite female character (besides her class pet-annoyingness) is Rachel Barry. She’s such a good singer, and other than being annoying and a class pet, she’s relatable. I love her performances, and I love her and Finn together. I also liked her and Jessie until he egged her. I really liked puck and Rachel ashwell, but they didn’t last after two episodes.
My favorite male character is definitely Sam Evans. Even though at the beginning of the show, he had a crazy obsession about being popular, he later realized that being popular wasn’t everything. He’s always there for people and in my opinion, he has the best singing voice out of the whole cast. Also, since he’s the new kid, I could relate to him at the beginning. I wish Sam and Quinn stayed a couple till the end because they sang so well together and had the perfect amount of drama (they’re also both blonde).
Overall, “Glee” is an amazing show and is a perfect 10 with no rotten tomatoes :).
Hey Aly, I've never watched the show "Glee" before, but it sounds like something pretty interesting to watch. I think my sister has seen it before, but I don't think the show is something I'll enjoy.
ReplyDeleteHi Aly, thanks for the review! I actually also used to watch "Glee" but never finished it. I thought the diversity in characters and the songs were really great aspects of the show. I also remember really liking Rachel Barry because of how talented she is. I forgot why I stopped watching it, but this post makes me want to rewatch the series and finish it at some point! I'll let you know if I do!

ReplyDeleteI love Glee!! Sorry if that makes you not want to watch it any longer hahaha I found it went down hill the last season or two - when the majority of the show left Ohio. I actually have a whole glee playlist on my streaming app, because I think their versions are fun. I really liked Sam. I liked a lot of the characters - LOVED that there was so much diversity in the show, too. I'm glad you posted about it. I may need to do a rewatch.

ReplyDeleteHi Aly. I love Glee. Well kind of. I LOVE the music, but overall, I don’t find the plot line to be among one of the best shows. I watched it in 8th grade and I always consider watching it again, I just haven’t gotten around to it.
