Jacob Abramchaev Week 21 - Testing Positive for Coronavirus

Lately, Dovie Kazinec and I have been going to the gym together a few times a week, but this week turned out to be different. At the beginning of the week, we went to LA Fitness together, and everything seemed normal as usual. The next morning, Dovie calls and tells me that he tested positive for COVID-19 and was experiencing symptoms. At first, I was shocked and worried if whether or not I also have covid. I decided to wait a few days to get tested because it usually takes a few days to start experience symptoms. A few days later, I had a minor sore throat, and that’s when I felt I had the virus. My PCR test came back positive, but I wasn’t surprised. Luckily, I got it before spring break, for I would be able to have fun during my break and not stay isolated. For the next two weeks, I stayed on the second floor, away from the rest of my family and the positive side of it was that it gave me a lot of time to reflect. On the other hand, I hated it because I was feeling really sick and even had trouble getting out of bed due to muscle fatigue. I felt too sick to do any school work, but I noticed after a week of having symptoms I started feeling much better. Overall, I will forever remember this experience, and I can’t wait for my life to go back to normal.

If your someone that already had covid, how was your experience, and what valuable lessons did you learn from it?
