Though this may have been one of the worst years that we can remember, it is hard to believe that it will already be November in less than two weeks. It’s pretty crazy that this year is already nearly done after all of the terrible things that happened, from the pandemic to the terrible deaths of many celebrities. On the positive side, I am happy that I am already nearly halfway done with my junior year of high school. I do not know if it is just me, what the school year has already flown by pretty quickly despite the unusual changes that have happened this year. Before I know it, I am gonna have to start looking at colleges, preparing my resume, or pretty much decide what I will be doing when I am completely done with high school. I wonder by this time next, how much in my life has changed, both in school and out of school. Also, the world will hopefully be getting back to its normal self by then too. It would be nice to be able to hang out with friends, see movies in actual movie theaters, go out to restaurants, go to all sporting events and venues; all regular things like we used to before this whole pandemic had started. So even though this year has not been great for any of us, do you think it has gone by pretty quickly like me? And if so, why do you think you feel that way?

I find your picture very appropriate and I agree completely! EEEEESH! That said, I agree with you. The days seem very long, but the actual time when I look back seems to have flown. I'm guessing it's because we are all sort of overwhelmed with everything going on that we don't even notice the time passing. I also think that the every-other-day schedule for classes helps to make it go by more quickly. We are halfway through but we've had half the class periods for each class. I hope that by the time you're ready to look at post-graduation plans, things will be back to normal. My son is doing his freshman year of college from home, and, while I love having him here, it isn't great for him. It's not that college experience people expect.
