One of my favorite shows to watch right now is bones. It follows the group of scientists, primarily forensic anthropologists and pathologists, as they work closely with the FBI to solve murders. Most of you will probably think that I am weird for watching this because it is not like the shows that most people watch. I, however, find it very interesting despite the fact that I hate anthropology. I took a lesson on it in my summer Forensics class, and it was the worst.
The main reason why I love the show is because of the characters. The main characters are Dr. Temperance Brennan (also known as “bones”), the main forensic anthropologist, Dr. Cammile Saroyan, the head of the department and pathologist, Special Agent Seeley Booth, their FBI correspondent, Dr. Jack Hodgins, known as the bug guy who examines particulates, and Angela, an artist and technology specialist who performs facial reconstructions. I spent the first few seasons getting a feel for the show and enjoying the characters, and then I noticed that Booth and Bones would make a great couple. For 6 or 7 seasons I wondered if they would ever end up together and now, they are FINALLY married. Because of some psycho serial killer, their wedding kept getting cancelled and I actually thought that it might never happen. At the end beginning of season 9, they finally get married and it was what I have been waiting for forever. What is your favorite show? Do you like more serious shows, or stupid popular shows?

I like these kinds of shows, but I also don't ever have the time and patience to stick with them. If I'm watching a show and discussing with friends, that is different and I stick with it, but otherwise I just can't focus for that long. I'm currently binging Schitt's Creek, which I'm really enjoying - it's funny, and I'm watching the growth of the characters as the seasons go on (I'm in the middle of season 2 right now. I watch maybe 2 episodes a night). I also watch terrible reality tv with Ms. Leibowitz, because it is totally mindless and we can talk about how awful the people are :-)
ReplyDeleteWoah woah woah woah what about Zack? He was my favorite character for so long, even after the whole "Gormagon" event. Anyways, I absolutely love this show. Even in its later seasons ,when it wasn't too accurate, the stories always seemed to keep me coming back. And because of this show I wanted to go into the anthropology field. Highly recomend 7.8/10
