Prepping for Summer 2021 - Dan -Blog 6

With summer 2020 already in the rearview mirror, most teenagers are already looking forward to summer 2021. We had nothing to do this summer. Nowhere to go, no one to hang out with, people quarantining all day, it sucked. There's always a silver lining though. For me personally, I've already started planning for next summer. Being that it's my last true summer vacation before college, I'm hoping I can make it unforgettable and full of new experiences. I'm thinking that my first option is a teen tour to Israel for a couple weeks. I know multiple people who have been on these teen tours and I've heard nothing but great things about them. I've heard that you meet lots of new fun people, that you get to visit beautiful sights and get to eat some tasty food. One of my favorite things about teen tours is that when it begins, most people don't know each other, so it's less awkward for everyone there. I find this as a great relief because I tend to be very quiet around people I don't know, but the fact that we're all strangers makes me less nervous. Overall, from what I've heard a teen tour sounds like an experience I won't regret and one that I'll look back on in some years and be very happy that I did it. If it does end up happening, I'm really excited to meet the new people and create great experiences.

Would you go on a teen tour? And if you already did, did you like it?

  1. I agree that last summer was very irritating. I feel like it's difficult to be focusing on next summer with school looming so large in front of us. Good for you for being able to separate the two.

  2. Hey Dan, my 2020 summer was also very boring and I can't wait to really make my 2021 summer something to really remember. I'm not sure if I'd go on a teen tour, but I usually travel with my family and cousins. It's kind of hard to believe time is going by so fast!
