I JUST QUIT MY JOB AHHHH - Coby Russo Week 9

I have two words. Wileen Coyne.  Oh my lord. This lady is something else. On December 22nd, 1933 something went wrong. Ok, to give some context, I work for a bunch of people in my apartment building, but she was like my main source of income. She's rude, cruel, and ungrateful. I worked for her for so long only because she paid me so much, but it was getting out of hand. And I'm not saying like oh she raised her voice. Like she was evicted out of her old apartment building, got an eviction notice for my apartment building (they took it away because a lot of people began to move out because of Corona), she's banned from the Meating Place in Regency, and the pharmacists at CVS know who I am because she threatened to take them to court over the phone (my phone). Today, she asked me to go on an extra grocery shop for her. I got everything that was on the list except for some meat because I accidentally went to the wrong place. She called me and began to scram, like the speakers were mufflly because she was so loud. I came back, apologized, went back to the right place, and came back to her apartment within ten minutes. She told me I was dumb for making a mistake, so I told her, "Wileen, I apologize for my mistake, but I will not work for you if you keep on speaking to me the way you do today and everyday." She said, "ok fine", and I said "Can you give me my money for the shop, and I'll be on my way. " While she was getting the money, she asked me, "When did I ever yell at you?", and I said "Today, Yesterday, The day before that, and so on" In conclusion, my advice to all of you guys is to never let anyone treat you harshly...EVER. No matter what.

  1. Wow, I can really tell that you are quite angry. I think that it's great that you got yourself out of this situation since it seems like it was almost traumatizing. I agree with you that it is better to leave instead of letting people treat you badly.
