Romy H week 10 Cheese Board!

Romy H week 10 Cheese Board!

This weekend my sister and I made a cheese board for my family to enjoy. We have been seeing pictures of various cheese boards on social media during quarantine, and we decided that we had to hop on the trend. We have been thinking about making one for a while, yet we just couldn’t find the right time. This past weekend happened to be the perfect opportunity to finally make one. We headed over to Trader Joe’s because they have an assortment of cheeses and treats as well as great vibes all around. When we arrived, there was quite a long line outside. We waited for about 10 minutes, but there was music playing and many people in the line were singing and dancing. We wandered inside to browse the snack and produce options. When we got to the cheese section, there were so many options that we couldn’t choose. We ended up getting 4 types of cheese: gouda, rosemary-infused asiago, honey goat cheese, and champagne-soaked cheese. We bought pita crackers and fig butter to go with the cheese, and we also got dark chocolate covered pretzels to compliment the savory flavors. When we got home we assembled the cheese board with other additions we had at home. We placed grapes, raspberries, blueberries, rosemary, and almonds around the board to fill in the gaps. Once we were done, it was super pretty and very aesthetically pleasing. We took some pictures(one is attached to this post) and decided to dig in! It tasted great, and I highly recommend making a cheese board! Have you ever made a cheese board? What did you have on it?

  1. Hi Romy, that is so cool that you made a cheese board. I have not ever thought about making a cheese board, although I do like to eat cheese (if that counts). Now I'm in the mood for some grapes! Also, I have not heard of any of the cheeses you mentioned, so I guess it's time for me to research different cheese varieties. Off I go!
