Week 10, Aly Strauss, I Got My License!
Happy Monday!! Last week, I got my drivers License. I was so nervous because honestly, I don’t drive at all. I only drive with lessons. I wish I could drive more, but I don’t have a car yet and my mom’s paranoid when it comes to me driving. She thinks I’m an ok driver, but I still need practice. Luckily my sister and I both passed even though I woke up with a migraine that day. Also, the person that gave us the test I already knew. He used to be my driving instructor, but I switched to a different person. The test was good even though I almost hit the poll, but luckily, I was a few millimeters away. All it really consisted was a three point turn, parking, and driving backward. The only thing that scared me the most was parking because the poles were so close to each other, and they were very narrow.
Last week my mom couldn’t drive me and my friend Nicole to bbyo so…. I got to drive. I actually did pretty good since it was already dark out and it was drizzling outside. Nicole had her hands on the handle thing the whole time, but I know that I did great. It’s really fun driving because it’s like I can go anywhere. I’m Free!!
I don’t really have anything else to talk about so, yeah. Do you have your license?
Hi Aly! I recently got my license too! My mom won't let me drive her car, but my uncle who lives in the Philippines keeps his car in FL so I can drive that one. The only problem with it is that whenever I open the drivers door it makes an awful creaking sound but you get what you get.

ReplyDeleteYAY congrats! You must be so relieved... I remember the night before my test I couldn't sleep. I was shaking and I was so nervous. Thankfully I passed the test and everything was smooth. I have had my license for around 6 months now. Before I got my license I was scared to drive and barely did it. Overtime, I got much more confident and now I drive every day!
Hi Aly, I'm actually getting my license in like a month, and I can't wait. I could've had my license over a year ago, but I was too lazy to get my permit in time. I drive often so hopefully I'll be free from waiting for other people to take me places.
ReplyDeleteMy parents have been trying to get me to get my license, but sometimes it just gets a little too nerve racking. I know it's a needed skill, but sometimes it's just hard to get the drive (no pun intended) to do it.
