Hi Blog! Recently I have been using my moms peloton a lot! I discovered that instead of going on runs outside, it is much more convenient to just stand-up and run on the bike. I think it’s an even harder workout than running outside because there is resistance on the bike. Anyways, it is so convenient because I usually just run right after school or some days I have a 2 hour break during the day and that’s when I go on it. The peloton has a lot of different instructors and options. Personally, just biking on the peloton is pretty easy and I end up getting bored really quickly. Running with the resistance far up on the bike on the other hand is a great workout. Not only are you running which is hard enough but the resistance feels like someone is pulling you backwards. If I didn’t have music on I might not make it since I usually do this for an hour most days. I like doing the scenic runs too because the screen shows me in a different location everytime. My personal favorite scenic runs are the Golden Gate Bridge and Sydney, Australia. Something else pretty cool that Peloton offers are yoga classes. I really enjoy these yoga classes and even if you don’t have a peloton i’m sure that you could find similar ones on youtube. They are very relaxing and a good way to cool down. Hi Lauren! The Peloton actually sounds so fun. I have recently started running too. I don't do it consistently, but I live on a 1.6 mile circle which I will run around. I wish I had a Peloton cheering each other on sounds so fun ahhh.

ReplyDeleteI wish I had a peloton to use. That is so cool that you have access to one. How do you think it has helped you and do you think it is worth it to get one? I know lots of people who have been getting these machines, but I haven't asked them if it is worth it. Also, how fast do you think you can run a mile?
My family also has a Peloton, but I don't use it much. When we first got it about two years ago, I used it more often, but now I don't enjoy cycling that much. The classes aren't very enjoyable for me, and the scenic rides get extremely boring for me. I should get into cycling more since it's so convenient having the bike in my house, but I like running outside more because it isn't boring to me. Something about being stationary doesn't make me motivated.
