Maya Melamed 13-choosing a superpower

If I could have any superpower it would be teleportation. It would be so convenient and make my life so much easier. If I'm ever running late to something I could just get there in a second, If I wanted to get food and am too lazy to drive I would just teleport, but the best thing of all would be not having to take plane flights especially long ones. This would solve a big problem, which is being so far from my family in Israel and Colombia because I would be able to just teleport to there anytime I want. I hate plane flights in general, but especially the one to Israel since it's 13 hours so being able to avoid it would be great. I would also be able to travel to any place I want without having to pay for a plane ticket.  The only downfall to this would be that I would start getting too lazy and I wouldn't want to walk or get any exercise. I would probably get so used to it because of the convenience. It would just save so much time and energy and probably reduce the stress of being late to places. Imagine not having to wake up early for school so that you would have time to get ready and drive there. It would be amazing to wake up later, get ready, and just teleport to school. I think that it's the best superpower and most useful.
If you could choose any superpower, which would you choose and why?

  1. Hi Maya! I agree that teleportation would be such a fun, useful superpower to have. It would be so nice to get to places quicker and not have to worry about being late or getting lost anywhere. The question of which superpower I would choose has always been difficult for me! I used to believe that I would choose super speed because, similar to teleportation, you can get to places faster and look really cool. However, I think I would prefer healing powers. I would love to be able to magically heal people and animals who are injured or sick. I love to help people, and it never makes me happy to see any person or animal suffering!
