Romi Avidor Week 13 Winning the Lottery?

I know that the title might have made you think that I won the lottery, but no I did not. I know, very sad. Anyway, I saw this question and it really made me think about what I would do if I won the lottery. On one side, of course, I would like to think that I would donate all the money to a charity, but on the other hand, of course, there are temptations. If I am being honest this is what I would do if I won the lottery. I would definitely donate some of it to a cancer research organization that would invest the money in finding ways to cure different types of cancer. I think that that is very important because there is still no cure to cancer after all these years. Of course there are ways to be healed, but in some situations people never heal from it. This would mean a lot to me because of personal experiences and something like this can change everything for a family. The next thing I would do is donate money to a special needs organization. Once again, this is a very personal and important matter. I think it is important to bring awareness and to invest in things like schools, institutes, jobs in order to better their everyday lives. I am able to see and experience how hard it is to find the right place for people with special needs because everyone has different needs. The last thing I would do is probably travel the world with my family and of course set a good amount of money to the side for the future and for my future family. I would set the money on the side to make sure that if anyone ever needed anything they would be taken care of. My family loves traveling and we always try to travel around the world to experience different places and different cultures. I am so lucky that I have already been able to travel to many places, but there is so much in the world to see and experience. Seeing new things, meeting new people, trying things out of my comfort zone really makes me happy. Once you get to know different cultures and people you will see how different they are from you. For example, everyone in Thailand was so sweet and nice and to see where they come from and how they live amazes me. I really do think that if I won the lottery I would invest my money in all these different things. If you won the lottery what would you do? According to this website it doesn’t seem like any of us have much of a chance… https://www.king5.com/article/news/verify/verify-theres-only-one-way-to-increase-your-lottery-odds-and-your-chances-are-still-basically-zero/507-605708625

  1. Hi Romi!
My family and I were actually just talking about this at dinner the other night. I would also donate to organizations that support causes I am passionate about. I would buy a home in the mountains or on the beach. Assuming I win millions, I would buy a second home next to mine for my parents/siblings. I would also travel and see as much of the world as I can while donating money along the way. Just for fun, I would get a boat. Lastly, I would rescue a kitten/cat :)

  2. Hi Romi, I have never spent much time thinking of how I would allocate my money if I won the lottery, but I guess now is a good time for that. I would probably give some money to some Jewish organizations such as NCSY and the OU, as well as other organizations I would have to research. I would probably buy a nice house on the Florida coast with a yacht, movie theater, and a tennis court. I would also hire a butler because, well, why not. Although I tend to be more optimistic, I can say for a fact that these things will probably never happen. I guess I can never be certain, so I'll just hope that I get a lucky number and become super rich.

  3. Hi Romi! Surprisingly, I think about this more often than you'd suspect lol. If I won the lottery I would probably split it up into 4 quarters. One quarter would go to various different charities that I support and am passionate about. The second quarter I think i'd use to help my parents pay for school, dance, bills, etc. The third quarter I'd put in my savings or college fund. Then the final quarter I'd use to buy whatever I wanted because winning the lottery is a pretty big deal and I deserve it.

  4. Hey Romi! I used to think about winning the lottery so much! My sister and I used to talk about it. I would definetly support charities. I'd love to support childrens hospitals. Not ganna lie, I'd definetly put most of the money for the future, but I'd love to put atleat 1/20 of it to charities.
