Tuesday morning, Tiger woods had some serious leg injuries after he got into a car crash in LA County. He had to go into surgery but is believed not to be in life-threatening danger. Sources say he was even conscious and speaking prior to the crash. His SUV struck the median of a road while he was believed to be speeding and swerved into the opposite lane and continued to roll over quite a few times before landing in a grassy area several hundred feet from the original strike. Emergency authorities were rushed to the scene roughly around 7 am and found Woods conscious with major leg injuries before rushing him to the nearest trauma center. His manager said the doctors said he was in “serious but stable condition.”
On Wednesday at 12:30 am ET, Woods tweeted that he had undergone “a long surgical procedure on his lower right leg and ankle” and that he was “currently awake, responsive, and recovering in his hospital room.”
People said they believed Woods’ career may be over because of this injury, but this may not be the case. Woods also got into another serious crash back in 2009 and bounced back to continue his golfing career and would go on to win the “Master’s” again years later in 2019. People close to Woods say he is strong and most likely will get through this injury and come back to his career eventually. Others say that he will “likely get back to his daily activities but playing sports, especially at a high level is another thing,” believing that Woods would not go back to his career, especially at the level and time he was playing at. What do you think? Will this injury stop Tiger Woods’ career in its tracks because of his age or the magnitude of his injury? Or do you think he will bounce back stronger than ever?
