Jacob A Week 15 - FaceTime with GaryV

Last week, I had the opportunity to be on FaceTime with a very well known businessman, Gary Vaynerchuk. Apparently, my cousin’s uncle from New York is his barber and when I found this out I couldn’t believe it. My cousin said he can get me on a facetime call with him, so I seized the opportunity, and I was very excited. I’ve been a fan of his business and marketing related content on YouTube with almost 3 million subscribers and almost 9 million followers on Instagram. He’s known for his e-commerce company Wine Library, his social media marketing agency VaynerMedia, and an early investor in Snapchat, Venmo, and Twitter.
Anyways, I heard that I would be getting a call sometime on Sunday, and it ended up happening. I was added to FaceTime, while Gary was getting a haircut. When I joined the call with him and my cousin, I started asking questions on the current state of the business world. Overall, he gave me some very valuable pieces of advice especially when it came to new ways for marketing a brand. He said many brands aren’t taking advantage of Tiktok or Linkedin to push their brand because those platforms have a lot of growth. We even had a quick conversation about cryptocurrency and how he’s investing a lot of his money into sports cards.  Lastly,

If you met an entrepreneur or some famous person, what questions would you ask them?

  1. Hi Jacob. That's so cool that you got to meet and talk to someone you admire so much. If I met an entrepreneur I would ask them what techniques they used to make their own business and money. Although, if I met another famous person, such as Harry Styles, I would probably ask different questions.

  2. Hi Jacob. It is pretty cool that you were able to be on Facetime with someone with the success like Gary V. If I met an entrepreneur like him, I would ask for his advice on the best way to get started at my young age, and what the best things to invest in are, so I can make as much money as possible.

  3. Hey Jacob! That's so cool that you met an entrepreneur as known as him! If I were to meet an entrepreneur, I'd probably ask how they started their business and then how they built their business to what it is today. If I were to meet a famous person, I'd ask how they got famous in the first place, because I think everyone secretly wants to be famous lol.

  4. Hi Jacob,
Thats so exciting that you got to talk with an entrepreneur that you look up to. If I met a famous person, I would probably ask if they like being famous. I dont know why, but being famous is such a strange concept to me, and I dont think I would like it. I feel like theres a lot of pressure on you, and you cant live as freely, so I would love to hear what a famous person thinks about being famous.
