Romi Avidor Week 21 Barton G Restaurant Review
For Gaya’s 18th birthday we wanted to do something special and take her somewhere really special for dinner. I organized a group of girls and had them all surprise her. My family and I decided to take her to a restaurant in Miami called Barton G. Although I have been there before many of the girls have not. I took this as an opportunity to review it and tell you how amazing the restaurant is.
First off, if you know anything about Barton G, you know that the presentation is everything. Everything you order comes in the craziest way possible. For example, if you order sliders it comes with a huge baseball bat and a hat. If you order popcorn shrimp, sorry I know it is not kosher, it comes inside a popcorn machine with popcorn inside. If you order steak, it comes with a huge fork that is of course just for display. If you order mac and cheese, it comes as a mouse trap. The way everything comes is the attraction of going to the restaurant. On top of how cool the presentation is, the food is actually really good. I personally ate the steak and I really enjoyed it. A couple people ate fish and they also really enjoyed it. I think it is amazing that someone thought of making a restaurant like this because many people like restaurants where there is an attraction like that. It catches the eye and draws you to want to come.
Now, let's talk about the most important part, dessert. Their dessert presentation is INSANE. They have this one dessert called Marie Antoinette. This comes with a mannequin face and on top of the head they have hair that is absolutely huge made out of cotton candy. It is so cool. They also have a huge sundae that many people enjoy eating. The restaurant's concept is just overall a 10/10.
I would definitely recommend going there if you have an opportunity. It is not an everyday kind of restaurant, so make sure you save it for a special occasion. Have you ever been to Barton G? If not do you know of any other restaurants that have cool concepts like this?

Hi Romi. I went to Barton G for my 16th birthday last year and a couple times before for big celebrations. Personally, I think the food is mediocre, but the price is as high as it is because I agree, presentation is everything. Don't get me wrong, it's not bad food, it's just the way it's served is so much cooler than the average restaurant. I haven't heard of or found any other restaurant like it and I think that's what makes it so unique.
ReplyDeleteHey Romi, I've never eaten at Barton G before, but I've heard about the place for a few years, and it sounds like a cool place to eat. From all the things I've heard and based on what you said, I really want to go now to try the food and see the cool presentations in person.
