Week 16, Aly Strauss, Indiana Cows Escape
Indiana cows escape a farm in Indiana, a few miles from Indianapolis, and run down a highway. Luckily someone recorded it and now we have a hilarious video of cows running down a highway. The funniest part about this video is that the cows were galloping like they knew that they were escaping and being chased. They were also escaping in a single-file line. Luckily, all the cows were together, and not one cow was alone, or spaced out from the rest.
Soon after all the laughs, volunteers started to round up the cows by rounding them up against a fence, and getting the other cows that were ahead rounded up at a further part of the fence. Eventually, all cows were rounded up with no human or animal injuries. The cows were found out to be running the opposite way as the cars in the passing lane ‘coming directly at the cars’.They later found out that there were about 70 cows in total, ‘galloping down the roads of northwest indiana.’
This is insane! Imagine coming home after getting coffee on a saturday or sunday and seeing a herd of cows coming towards you on a highway! Imagine even having the guts to get out of your car on a highway, and help herd cows with the fear of a calve attacking you. I guess Indiana citizens are just another bread! Would you be surprised, or not surprised if you saw a single-file line herd of cows galloping towards you on a passing lane of a highway?
Hi Aly,
ReplyDeleteHonestly I think I would be so scared and in shock at the same time. Like who would ever think something like this can happen. I would be scared because they could be dangerous and break a glass window in the car or something, but people actually got out of the cars and surrounded them? That is crazy. I do not think I would do that because I would be scared that they think we were trying to attack them, so they would attack us back and that would be very scary. I do not really know what I would do if I saw this, but probably just sit in the car in a state of shock. This is really funny.
