Over the past year, the coronavirus has made a huge impact on the world in every way possible. It has affected individual countries and people more than others, but everyone has felt some effect. A year later we are still suffering and feel the effects that this virus left on us.
This week, Joe Biden passed a $1.9 Trillion coronavirus action plan that is supposed to help “end a crisis of deep human suffering”. It will help speed up vaccines and help people who are struggling financially. The goal is to administer 100 vaccines by his 100th day of administration and have all schools open by the spring. The 4 categories are direct aid, community support, national vaccination program/ school reopening, and information technology. The most money will go directly to the people and provide $1,400 checks for rental, food, child care, and utilities. $350 billion will go to first responders and essential workers, along with grants for small businesses and other entities. $130 million will go to making schools safe enough to open, and additional to expanding vaccine distribution. The last amount will go to cyber security.
Okay so this whole plan sounds good, but I don’t understand where the country gets this much money to spend from. Is it like in the depression where JFK just spent a lot of money to get out? Someone please help me in the comments.
Also I was kind of angry that he delayed the start of Greys Anatomy’s newest episode but it is okay.
