Romi Avidor Week 19 Do you think you can live in another country?

Yes, I do think I can live in another country. The country I feel like I can see myself living in is Israel. I grew up going to Israel every summer which is what makes it feel like a home to me. I stay there for over two months, so I do get to experience what it is like living there. Sometimes I wish that I grew up in Israel because the lifestyle is much different then here. In Israel, the kids are much more free and independent. They do not rely on their parents like we do here. For example, they are able to walk home from school, walk at night on the streets, and much more from a very young age. Here, we don’t have the freedom of walking on the streets alone or walking home from school. We need transportation in order to get everywhere where everything in Israel is a walking distance. A lot that goes through my mind now is that maybe I want to do college in Israel. Maybe an experience like that would be good for me to see something new and live a different lifestyle. I think it is important to step out of your comfort zone and try new things. I think what scares me the most is being so far away from my family. Although my whole family lives in Israel, my parents and my siblings live here. I do not like to be far away from them because I have a very close connection with them. I would honestly love to experience life in Israel, if it is not for college then maybe after college and meet a hot and nice Israeli guy. ;) Do you think you can live in another country?
