Ellie Week 23: My Plans For The Summer

Hey everybody. I was talking to Ms. Schneider during math today and she said we only had 7 weeks of school left until we were seniors. That alone is super scary but I’m so excited for summer. Surprisingly I have a lot planned for summer with things opening up more and I’ll be vaccinated by then! First I’m actually taking the SAT in June which isn’t a great start. But less than 2 days later I fly off to camp in New York for 6 weeks and that’s going to be super fun. It’s my last year there and I’m really sad about that, but I plan on having the best time and making sure to appreciate every moment. After that, there’s no visiting weekend this year, so my dad is coming to pick me up and we’re spending a day either in the city or visiting colleges such as Rochester University or NYU. My family will already be in North Carolina, and my dad’s going to drive up and come get me and then we’re having a one-on-one road trip back to NC. Then when we come home a week or so later, I have time to just chill and hang out, but also I need to have time to do my summer work, college prep, and SAT work as well. There’s also talk about taking a mini-vacation since my whole family will be vaccinated by then, but we’d only go somewhere probably within the US, maybe to visit my brother in New Mexico. Those are my plans for the summer and I’m su[per excited to just take a break from school and get ready for the hectic year ahead. What are your summer plans?
