 Week 23, Aly Strauss, My Neighbors Are Annoying

So, I’m a pretty annoying neighbor. I sing in the shower, let my dog crap on people’s lawns, and try to avoid neighbors at all costs, but wow! My neighbors are being extremely annoying this week. 

My neighbors are always outside. Since they have a five year old daughter, they have her play outside all the time. It’s cute and all and one day I’d love to babysit her but there comes a point in time when all you hear outside is a constant yelling noise of a little five year old playing castle, and you know what? It’s annoying!. It’s even more annoying when she cries in the middle of the night so the mom takes her outside to calm her down, so I wake up to a full-on tantrum at 5 in the morning! Like I understand you don’t want to annoy the rest of the family in the house, but rather than the whole neighborhood, like come on! You gave birth to her so stay inside when she’s throwing a tantrum!

Another annoying thing is that the dad of this family fishes outside. Now, I don’t have a problem with fishing and it’s a fun thing to do, but this man fished outside our house. Like if I walked around my house and wore ‘comfy attire’ he would see; and when I sing in the shower loud and proud, he could definitely hear. I get he likes to fish, but he can do it in his own backyard-area.

Now my last issue with these neighbors is small talk. I hate small talk with neighbors because I don’t like having to fake a smile in my own household, or even outside my house; well too bad for me because they love small talk. 

Ok that was it :) I love my neighbors no matter what, but this past week they’ve been annoying.
